Student Success Statement By Dan Dierdorf
" If I got correct goals, and if I keep pursuing them the best way I know how everything else falls into line. If I do the right thing right, I'm going to succeed."

Dan Dierdorf was a well known basketball player and his only rule to success was to do things right. If you got a goal the only way you can achieve it is by making sure your goal is correct and pure. After that you just basically have your life all planned out because when you do good great things happen to you. If your goal was intervened by someone who wanted the goal more than you and you gave it up because you felt bad if the other person won and you didn't that just means that it wasn't meant to be. Some things in life are just the things we want and sometimes we do not end up getting it. We should value those moments because they move us into a different path that will eventually be the right path for us.

Student Success Statement By Dennis Prager
" The most important thing you will ever have is good values."
Image result for good values

Having good values and having good manners are a total different subject. One thing is saying verbal expressions like 'thank you" and "please" and the other is having moral beliefs that make you who you are. For example choosing between what you feel and what is right. In the video shown they presented an example where you have to choose between saving your dog or a human stranger. In my perspective I would have saved the dog because they dog is a part of my life and ,y future but he right thing to do would be saving the human because it just makes sense I don't know. Probably because you got the person killed if you save your dog instead of the person. Some good values that is is crucial to have is honesty, kindness. and respect.

" I Trust That My Hard Work Will Pay Off "
Image result for hard work

Tyler Hawks is a Brigham Young University Basketball Player who has never been a talented player, but worked hard to be the best of him team. He would practice with his dad bright and early in the morning and practice the same shots over and over and over. There was times where he made 143 baskets with no misses. His hard work got him into the 2nd player named Mr.Basketball two times in a row, I guess that's a thing now. However, he was committed to church and god so when he got the opportunity to go to a mission he took it with no doubt. He was able to go to a Philippines mission for two years and become the BYU leading scorer. It is quite true that hard work pays off because all his determination got him to where he is now.

“ In life as in football, you won’t go far, unless you know where the goalposts are.”              Arnold H. Glasgow

I agree with this statement by Arnold H. Glasgow many people are successful in life because the set goals and the know what they are reaching for. However, if you are not in the same path and do not have a clear view of what you want what is the point of going far. Not setting goals is like not having eyes, you don’t know what you are doing or even why. In football if you want to win the game you know where to aim and where the goalpost is that is why it makes it easier for the player to make clear shots. Imagine if the picture above did not have the target, the 3 characters would not know where to pinpoint the arrow or whatever its called. The thing is they would go on in life carrying that thing without knowing what to do with it. So if you want to be easy with yourself make big goals and strive for the better. P.S always do what you gotta do with enthusiasm.

In theory I believe I would not like to become a kinesiologist, for the fact that I’m terrible at exercises and giving advices about improving the body. I am more likely to be in need of a kinesiologist than become one.

“It’s better to be alone, than to be with bad company”

                                                                               -Unknown

Being alone can mean a lot of things, you can be alone but have a lot of people around you, or you can be alone but have just that 1 person, or you could be alone and have nobody. Whichever the problem is, it is always better to be alone than with bad company, because later on in life having bad company includes fake people, and bad reputations. If you hang out with people who drink and party all the time people would see you as one of them even if you don’t drink. Having bad company can influence you to do the wrong choices you can not take back. So instead of having bad people surrounding you, it is a lot better to be alone or associate with good people who actually want to see you succeed in life. However, you cannot be lonely if you like the person you are alone with. I mean if you are happy about yourself you can have fun by yourself. You can become a better person by choosing the right and be with good people.
