“Three Major Keys To Living Your Life With Integrity” By: W.Clement Stone
- Have the courage to say no
- Have the courage to face the truth
- Do the right thing because it is right
The meaning of integrity is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles. To be able to live with integrity you have to be able to choose the right. Having the courage to say no to things that are wrong is a big step towards the three major keys to living your life with integrity. For example if someone offers you a drink you have to have the courage to not accept it. There is always a point in life when you think what you are doing is not wrong, but deep down you know you are doing something wrong. In addition another key is to be brave enough to face the truth. Some people may lie to you because you know what they say “sometimes the truth hurts more than the lie” which is why you have to have a positive mind and face the truth with good purposes. We always say I am a CTR person because I know what is right and what is wrong. However to be a CTR person doesn’t mean to know the difference it means to be able to choose between what is good and what is bad even when you know the differences.

“ A CTR champion is a person who makes a great human out of himself.”
-Noemi Trigueros
When I started to think more of this quote I realized that many great people always choose the right. I think what Noemi was trying to let her readers know is that in order to be a champion and a great person at the same time you should consider choosing the right all the time. Even when you are in a race a good champion doesn’t race for the price he races for the feeling of being successful. So if you want to be a CTR champion don’t do it because you are being pressured do it for yourself. You in the end is all that matters. If you know you are going to feel good about choosing the right you should go for it. Not all people were born to do the right, some were born to be an example of CTR. You will always go far when you choose the right.

Student Success Statement
“ When obedience becomes our goal. It is no longer an irritation; instead of a stumbling rock, it becomes a building block”
I agree with this quote by James E. Faust because when we hear about obedience we do not actually see it as a willing thing to do. When rather commit some disobediences than obey the law. But when obedience becomes like an ultimate goal, you have this urge of wanting to complete that goal. And that is when our pyramid starts to get taller, once we start to obey greater things happen in life. So it is rather not an option to obey the laws and obey the people who only want to see you doing good it is more of a choice. A choice you have of either growing your pyramid up or down.

Student success statement
“Obedience is central to becoming, being, and remaining happy”
The ultimate goal of life is to find happiness, and the one easiest way to find it is by being obedient. Obedience doesn’t just mean to do what you are told to, because if that was the objective, we would all be going through a wrong path. Being obedient means doing what you are told to do but knowing it is also the right thing to do. You are not obviously going to rob something because you were being obedient, you are going to choose the right and follow god’s will because you know robbing is not right. Even if you don’t believe in god robbing is not right and you know it, so why obey someone that makes you do the bad things. When you do bad you feel guilt and if happiness is what you are looking for, start by obeying the people who choose the right. Start by doing your homework every day not just when you are at risk to fail a class. Start by doing good actions and obeying the law because one day you won’t regret doing what was right. Being happy is the only thing in life that matters. If obeying means being happy be a CTR person and consider making right decisions that will bless your life later on.

Obedience
"The key to freedom is obedience. The more obedient we are, the more freedom we have."
- Boyd K. Parker
The reason why most people end up in jail is because they do the opposite of obedience. A person does not get locked up behind bars because they do the right they are put into jail for doing the wrong thing. If you decide to obey the rules and commit yourself to doing the right thing all throughout your life you would have more freedom. Not just freedom of being out of jail but also the spiritual freedom of feeling good about your actions and good deeds. Freedom is not something you have to work for if you just obey and choose the right, freedom would come to you.

" Obedience is the great test of life"
-Thomas S. Monson

-Thomas S. Monson
Obey, it seems so simple, but to our nature we are most likely to break a rule or two ... hundred. If you think about it obedience is a necessary element of life. Most of our lives are spent either at home or at school. In both places we are told what to do and we are in the choice of whether to obey our parents and teachers or to disobey. To our own benefits we aim to obey our elders because that's the right thing to do. But if there was no favorable results to our good actions would people still obey the rules? We are taught to obey because in return we get blessings but when I think about it that way it seems more of a "you give me this and I give you that" action. In my opinion people should be obedient for their own will, excluding the fact that you are getting something in return. Being a good person is not expensive it just takes a little bit of effort to persuade your instincts to do the right thing. At the end of the trip you won't regret a single thing you did if you decide to obey and choose the right in everything you do.
