      William Penn was a famous philosopher, one of his most triggering quotes is right is right, even if everyone is against it, and wrong is wrong, even if everyone is for it. This ideal thought of his makes you realize that sometimes people might think doing the wrong can sometimes be good because you have good intentions, but doing the wrong is always wrong. For example if you were to choose between being the person who is going to kill or being the person who is going to be killed, most would pick the one who doesn’t get killed which is the killer. Although you might say “it's my life or his,” murder is always wrong no matter what the reason was. Life brings us tough situations, but is never good to take the easy way out which always leads to wrong choices. However, what if everyone was against doing something you believed was right ? Sometimes you will come upon a situation where everyone is against doing the right thing but you should always go for what you think is right.

When you really want to be something in life like a doctor or a basketball player, you do anything to make that happen. What would occur if what you desire for your future is put on hold for something you want now. This quote by Peter Vidmar encourages you not to give up your dream for something that is not worth it now. Having regret on what you could of done is not what everyone wants to be doing in their future. I believe when we put a goal in mind we are triggered by other things in our path. For example if you decide to be a basketball player and you decide to dodge that future career because you want to be with your friends or girlfriend, you are risking your happiness. The right thing to do is to stay in track and be committed to what you want and let nothing happen to it until you accomplish it. Sacrificing something you always wanted for something you want now is not hard to decide upon.   All the effort you put into what you always wanted is much more valuable than throwing away it all for a worthless desire.

Homecoming

Definition:

Homecoming is a tradition of welcoming back former students and celebrating a school’s existence. It is a tradition in many high schools and colleges in the U.S, Canada and Philippines.  

History:

Homecoming has been dating back to the 19 century. Most think the University of Missouri 1911 football game is the first official homecoming in the nation. The game ended in a 3-3 tie and was celebrated with 10,000 alumni with a parade, spirit rally and a bonfire. It was a huge success that is eventually spread across the country.

Homecoming game:

A homecoming game usually dates back to the 19 century also it is called a homecoming game because it is usually before homecoming.

Homecoming Etiquette:

Homecoming etiquette is the expectations of a homecoming. My thought of a homecoming dance is where people get together and pass a great time like a part only its in school.

Being to achieve anything you ever dreamed of is a good feeling. Being a able to prove people wrong, and show that that you were capable of being successful is a good feeling. What is not a good feeling is to choose the wrong and be known as someone who did the wrong. Years later people would remember you as someone who chose the wrong and someone who was despicable. However, being remembered as a vivacious person who was very admirable is far more important than achieving your goals and being successful. Because it all depends on how you were able to achieve them. At the end the only thing that is left is your name, you don’t have a choice of telling people how to remember you after you are dead. Building a good name for yourself is what matters, money is temporary but your name is forever. Like many will say being known is far less important than what you are known for.;)

Reflection:

I think I would not like to have a career in another country, because being a foreigner I would not know nothing about the country or their culture. However, traveling the world and having a career I like would be interesting.

 Health Educator

Duties and Responsibilities:

Some duties and responsibilities that health educators need are

• Collaborate with health specialists to determine community health needs
• Develop and promote health programs
• Provide program information to the public
• Guide agencies and organizations of health needs

Salary:

The average annual salary of a health educator is $41,830 USD.

Education:

A bachelor’s degree or higher in health education, public or promotion health is also required. To become a health educator you also need to pass the certified health education specialist exam.

Demand or need of profession:

5 in 10 health educators work in health care and social assistance and an additional 2 out of 10 work in the state or government. Employment of health educators is expected to grow 26 percent.

Reflection:

I would not like to be a health educator because I am not really good at explaining any subject. Although I have an A for health i typically don’t remember much of the health components and probably would not be able to educate people about health.

When it says a good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, it doesn’t mean you should change your name to something cool because yours is so common. It means that who you are is far more than just your name. If you choose to be a CTR person when people hear your name they would know who you are because of all the amazing things you have done. However, if you choose to do the wrong people would despise your name every single time you come up. It doesn’t take a bid effort to do nice things and try to do the best for people. Being rich is temporary the money you have would make people not like you because you are arrogant. Instead of being selfish, and wanting the money instead of a good name you should look forward to the “what would my grandchildren think of when they hear my name,” it all depends on who you decide to be.
