“ If your so-called friends urge you to do anything you know to be wrong, you be the one to make a stand for right, even if you stand alone. Have the moral courage to be a light for others to follow.” - Thomas S. Monson
My thoughts about this quote are very deep, it is actually the first quote that I am interested about. Most people always change their beliefs because they are intimidated by someone else. When I was probably in kinder most girls used to change their opinions about something because the “popular “ girl did, for example if a girl didn't like carrots and the girl she always follows around does, she would obviously be like “oh i was joking I do like carrots” just to seem cool to others. If the girl kept that habit, later on in life she would be doing things other girls did even if they were wrong. Like if she was asked to drink alcohol she would've chosen the wrong and drank it. This quote is similar to one I always liked which was; go to the road never taken. Which means that if you follow the path everyone goes to it would eventually become crowded and dirty and not very fun. While the other path can be a chance for something new. Choosing the right most of the time is the best way to start a new life and a new perspective about everything.
