“ I wasn’t trying to leave a legacy, I was trying to do what was right.”

                                                        Dean Smith

One of the greatest basketball coaches was Dean Smith. By greatest it doesn’t technically mean he was best known because of all the games he won, but because he was a great men indeed. He wasn’t trying to be a legacy himself, he wanted to do what was right for all the team players he coached. He taught them how to have good character and not g=curse and always do what is right. Dean Smith wanted to be remembered as a man who did what was right for people not for the way he coached his players. Although he was a man that everybody appreciate. In his last days he was awarded and people clapped for him. They showed respect for dean Smith who valued his team players more than the title. Today as I learned about Dean Smith I can reflect that he shows a great example for many people. He is someone who should always be remembered, because he not only made a great life for those he coached but also made a great life for those who watched.
