Education:
To become an ophthalmologist you need a four year postgraduate training after obtaining a medical degree. You need a three year residency in ophthalmology with a one year internship. That is you need 4 years of college and 4 years of medical school.

According to the BLS only a 14 percent increase of jobs will open for ophthalmologists on the next 10 years.
Reflection:
I think that besides a very long time of schooling to become an ophthalmologists it can be worth it if you want to be one for the eyes. But if I was to choose what I would want to do for the rest of my life I wouldn't like to be this. That is because being in an office is not for me and the surgeries aren't either.
