Student Success Statement By: Rex D. Pinegar
" Dare to do the right."

We all know that when someone dares us we feel like we have to prove a point that we have the courage to do it. However, will you ever be brave if you follow what they command you to do all the time. In reality there is no such thing as a dare. It is basically a command someone tells you to do and you feel like you have to do it. This is when danger crawls and bad things can happen. For example if someone dares you to put a rope around yourself and see how long you take before you run out of air you are literally ignorant if you do it and end up dying. You are putting yourself at danger when you receive these dares as goals. The only dare you should ever fall upon in life is the dare to do the right thing because like always doing what is right will bring you better things in life than what doing the wrong will. You do not need more than 1 reason to follow this dare and stay away from bad influences tbh.

Student Success Statement By Thomas S. Monson
"Dare to Stand Alone."

As we grow older one of the thing we must realize is that no one ever keeps the same friends. Situations happen that make us or other drift away. And it is okay because sometimes we are the only thing we have left. Standing  up for what is right requires us to lose some people in our lives but gain millions when it comes to choosing the right.  The only thing you should remember is to not be afraid to stand alone because standing alone against thousands shows the power you hold within yourself. It is much more scary to stand with others who are wrong and do not have a future ahead of them then with someone who is simply looking at a crystal clear future. As Thomas said you should DARE to stand alone because not everyone can. Personally I am terrified to be alone but I prefer 100 x more to stand up for myself in a situations that requires me to choose the right.
