My Thanksgiving Break

    For my thanksgiving break I didn’t do much but I enjoyed IT. oN SATURDAY i WENT TO lA pUENTE FOR A RACE i HAD. iT WAS SO COLD BECAUSE IT WAS THE MORNING BUT i GOT USED TO IT AND WAS ABLE TO FINISH THE RACE. oN MONDAY I WAS PLANNING TO GO OUT AND VISIT A MUSEUM BUT I GOT TETHERED AROUND INTO THIS NOVEL CALLED THE VAMPIRE DIARIES. A LOT OF PEOPLE TALK ABOUT IT SO I WAS FINALLY   

                                                                  

READY TO SEE WHAT IT WAS ABOUT. tO MY SURPRISE THERE WAS A TOTAL OF 8 SEASON. HMM. I MADE IT THROUGH THE 3RD SEASON, AND I’M GLAD TO SAY IT IS PRETTY INTERESTING. tHANKSGIVING WEEK WAS PRETTY COLD AND BROUGHT A LITTLE BIT OF RAIN SO i WATCH A LOT OF MOVIES. THE COOL THIS WAS THAT SEASON 6 OF MY FAVORITE SHOW CAME OUT.            oN wEDNESDAY WE CELEBRATED MY SISTER’S BIRTHDAY AND HAD A GOOD TIME.

fOR THANKSGIVING IN SPECIFIC WE PREPARED FOOD. I UNFORTUNATELY DON'T LIKE TURKEY SO I ATE SOMETHING ELSE. THE PUMPKIN PIE WAS BOMB THOUGH. ON FRIDAY I WAS ABLE TO GO TO cITADEL OUTLETS FOR MY FIRST TIME. I’M GLAD TO SAY I GAVE

DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO GET THERE. I DIDN’T BUY MUCH BECAUSE MY INTERESTS AREN’T IN CLOTHES IS MUCH MORE IN MAKEUP SO I DIDN’T WANTED TO SPEND MONEY ON THINGS I WASN’T GOING TO WEAR. LASTLY, ON THE WEEKEND I TRIED TO FINISH MY HOMEWORK AND SADLY I DIDN’T DO THE 3 ESSAYS FOR ENGLISH SO I DID THEM ALL LAST NIGHT. hOPE i GET A GOOD GRADE BECAUSE I PUT A LOT OF EFFORT IN SO LITTLE TIME.

History:

Thanksgiving day was first mentioned in 1621, the Plymouth colonists and the ` Wampanoag Indians shared an autumn harvest feast that is acknowledged today as the first thanksgiving. It wasn’t until 1863 that President Lincoln proclaimed a national Thanksgiving day to be held each November.

Reflection:

I believe having a holiday for thanksgiving has been a big achievement, there are times where we need a time off of work or school and just be with the people we care about and be thankful for them. There are certain people that are so valuable in our lives that there aren't any words to describe how thankful we are for them. They have helped us achieve our goals and put us on right paths and been with us since day 1. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays there is a big feast and big conversations and life is just good during fall. I am indeed thankful for the food especially the pumpkin pie.
