Student Success Statement By: Rex D. Pinegar
" Dare to do the right."

We all know that when someone dares us we feel like we have to prove a point that we have the courage to do it. However, will you ever be brave if you follow what they command you to do all the time. In reality there is no such thing as a dare. It is basically a command someone tells you to do and you feel like you have to do it. This is when danger crawls and bad things can happen. For example if someone dares you to put a rope around yourself and see how long you take before you run out of air you are literally ignorant if you do it and end up dying. You are putting yourself at danger when you receive these dares as goals. The only dare you should ever fall upon in life is the dare to do the right thing because like always doing what is right will bring you better things in life than what doing the wrong will. You do not need more than 1 reason to follow this dare and stay away from bad influences tbh.

Image result for great moments

" It's a GREAT MOMENT when someone has the character to step up and do the right thing at the right time." Pam Knox

There are some things in life that are worth standing up for. If you are in a situation where you have to think about what to do you should always think about what is the right action in that moment.  Having the motivation to do the right thing in a critical situation can help others and help yourself. When you do something good for someone you feel good about yourself and make great memories happen. For example if you see someone beating up a dog you shouldn't just stand there and pass by like nothing happened. Have the courage to stand up and tell the person to find help because harming an animal is just as worse as harming a person. Not only did you help save a life but you helped create a moment in your life that you will never forget and won't take for advantage.
