This quote has nothing but good intentions to it.  If something’s not right why bother to even do it. There are times when we say things that are not true. I believe this can be justifiable if the reason you are not saying the truth is for a good reason. For example, if the reason you are lying is going to protect someone’s life then it is okay to not say the truth. However, when doing something that is not right for something that is inconsequential and unimportant there is no reason to put yourself in the wrong path. The only consequence that doing the wrong would lead you to is misery.

History:

Thanksgiving day was first mentioned in 1621, the Plymouth colonists and the ` Wampanoag Indians shared an autumn harvest feast that is acknowledged today as the first thanksgiving. It wasn’t until 1863 that President Lincoln proclaimed a national Thanksgiving day to be held each November.

Reflection:

I believe having a holiday for thanksgiving has been a big achievement, there are times where we need a time off of work or school and just be with the people we care about and be thankful for them. There are certain people that are so valuable in our lives that there aren't any words to describe how thankful we are for them. They have helped us achieve our goals and put us on right paths and been with us since day 1. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays there is a big feast and big conversations and life is just good during fall. I am indeed thankful for the food especially the pumpkin pie.

Whether you lose or win the most important thing is to do good. Winning might seem like the ultimate prize but when you cheat to win the prize isn’t so good, especially if you get caught. When you choose to be fair and honorable you feel good about yourself and what you have become. Sometimes it could be hard to accomplish a certain task so you choose to find a w=easier way out, but that leads to consequences. The best way to win is to win with dignity. You can always be a winner even if you lose when you choose the right. I have reviewed over 50 quotes by now and they all relate to choosing the right. There is a purpose for that I don’t typically like doing the same thing all the time but when  it comes to doing something you better choose wisely. Because you can see it was worth it to do something good when it took you years rather than do something bad that still took you a long time to complete. I don’t know if that made sense but that was my reflection towards this statement. Choosing the right and being fair is what makes everyone humble and great from the inside.

I think honoring and making a holiday is a great way to show respect for those who died serving the country. Many people retire after they make it through the military but they usually have lost a limb. Talking to veterans after they have served the US is a great thing to do. Sometimes talking about their memories is all that is needed to make a veteran happy. Without them many innocent lives could of been killed although by risking their life isn’t a good idea their bravery is something you can’t compare anything to. There are times when veterans have a family of their own and they usually have to make sure they come out alive for their children. I think veterans are what come as close to becoming a superhero. The meaning of integrity is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles. To be able to live with  integrity you have to be able to choose the right. Having the courage to say no to things that are wrong is a big step towards the three major keys to living your life with integrity. For example if someone offers you a drink you have to have the courage to not accept it. There is always a point in life when you think what you are doing is not wrong, but deep down you know you are doing something wrong. In addition another key is to be brave enough to face the truth. Some people may lie to you because you know what they say “sometimes the truth hurts more than the lie” which is why you have to have a positive mind and face the truth with good purposes.  We always say I am a CTR person because I know what is right and what is wrong. However to be a CTR person doesn’t mean to know the difference it means to be able to choose between what is good and what is bad even when you know the differences.

Most of us will become or act like the 5 people we most spend time with. We are influenced by both good and bad. It all depends on what you choose. If you choose to spend time with wise men then you are to become wise and blessed. Unlike if you decide to be a fool and spend time with people who are more lost than you then you are most likely into no good. The only way you can lead to success is looking through the right path. Being with people who smoke and stay up late all the time and don't care a single bit about their future are going to destroy your life more than you can. Choosing the right is always the one path you should look forward to, because without it you would be facing a future full of regrets and disappointments. For example, if you go to a party with the fools you hang out with instead of studying for a quiz you are certain to fail it because you decided to choose the wrong instead of spending that time for something good.

There are many types of recreations around the world whether it's a sport or board game, they are things that help you recreate yourself. For example being exhausted of studying and working hard. Swimming can be your way of recreating who you would like to be. However there is only one great recreation, which is to do good. Having a sport as a recreation is nice but always choosing to do good as a hobby is something that would lead to greater outcomes.
