We Learn To Do By Doing

                                               

      Even if we fail the first time or if we don't understand it, the best way to learn how to do something is by doing. like this other quote that says "you won't know unless you try." It doesn't even have to cross our mind to try and educate ourselves, since we were small we learn things by doing them. For example you learned to write your full name in pre-school and you didn't even have to think about doing it we just learned how to write it by doing it over and over again. We might be a little slow at first but by getting our hands a little messy we can create a mosaic without even knowing it. So by getting up each day and having a positive attitude we expand our knowledge by going to school/work and learning new things every second.  You can learn the greatest secrets of life if you just put your mind to it. it's not about doing it it's about wanting to do it. So if you want to be a cook you learn to be one by doing what cooks do. 

   Emergency Medical Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

An emergency medical technician travels to the scene of an emergency and provides initial on-site basic medical care, and transportation of the patient for advanced medical treatment.  

Salary:

                   $31,700

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent and a CPR certification are both mandatory requirements for most formal EMTs. All emergency medical technicians need to be licensed for practicing.

Demand of profession:

The job growth for emergency medical technicians is expected to grow 24 percent in the upcoming years.

   

Reflection:

Indeed I think I would like to become an emergency medical technician. Providing basic medical care for people in need seems like a good career to pass your next few years in.

   Around the world there are many people that come up with quotes. We can either relate to each of them negatively or positively.  You might think that your life is the worst thing ever, but in reality the moment you are living is the only bad thing. Life is a gift that is given to us and we are meant to do good in order to be happy in life. The moments you live are based on the decisions you make. For example, if you choose to lie you would be encountering many consequences of lying. The feeling of guilt that is produced by your lie causes you to feel bad instead of feeling good. You are the author of your book and you decide whether that chapter is written in gold or in black ink.

          Ear Nose Throat Doctor

Duties and Responsibilities:

An ear nose throat doctor or also known as an ENT is a physician trained in the medical and surgical treatments of the ear, nose throat, and related structures of the head and neck.

• Ear specialists treat ear disorders, like ear infections, facial nerve or cranial nerve disorders, and cancerous disorders of the outer and inner ear.
• Nose specialists include caring for nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses, allergies, and breathing.
• Finally throat specialist expertise in managing diseases of the larynx and upper aerodigestive tract or esophagus.

Salary:

$369,790

Education:

Like all physicians, the ENT doctors need to obtain a medical degree right after college.

• Undergraduate degree ( 4 years of college or university)
• Medical degree (4 years of medical school)
• Residency training ( 3 years of residency, plus 1 year of surgery training)
• Extra 2 years for additional training and residency.

Demand or Need for this profession:

According to the BSL there is expected to be a growth of all physicians in the upcoming years. For there are that the elderly population continues to increase there would be in need of specialists in hearing loss.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?

I believe I would rather not like to become a ear nose throat doctor because i am very grossed out by anything that includes surgeries. In contrast I would rather prefer to become a nurse or assistant in the medical careers.

                    “Obedience is central to becoming, being, and remaining happy”

The ultimate goal of life is to find happiness, and the one easiest way to find it is by being obedient. Obedience doesn’t just mean to do what you are told to, because if  that was the objective, we would all be going through a wrong path. Being obedient means doing what you are told to do but knowing it is also the right thing to do. You are not obviously going to rob something because you were being obedient, you are going to choose the right and follow god’s will because you know robbing is not right. Even if you don’t believe in god robbing is not right and you know it, so why obey someone that makes you do the bad things. When you do bad you feel guilt and if happiness is what you are looking for, start by obeying the people who choose the right. Start by doing your homework every day not just when you are at risk to fail a class. Start by doing good actions and obeying the law because one day you won’t regret doing what was right. Being happy is the only thing in life that matters. If obeying means being happy be a CTR person and consider making right decisions that will bless your life later on.

           Lausd provides many student services for example, after school programs that allow young people to interact with one another and learn much more than the average school work. Beyond the Bell and All Stars are one of the most known after school programs of lausd. These two programs include help on homework, sports, activities, and free menus for children attending school. In addition lausd provides kids with summer school and internships opportunities. 
         I believe the services lausd provides are stupendous, many public schools are different in every way, but they all have something you should not take for granted. Lausd helps students meet their required graduating goals by introducing online tutoring or easy at home learning. Lausd has been around for years making kids of today be the success of tomorrow.

       Choosing the right thing to do is always the right thing to do because when you do the wrong thing you don't feel good about it. It is better to have a feeling of happiness when you do a good action then to satisfy your needs by doing something you will feel guilty about and later regret. If you choose the right you will find happiness later on in life. The actions you do will benefit you in the ways you did them. For example if you gave money to the poor the day before Christmas, the idea of you knowing they will have food in their stomach would be way more valuable than any present you come upon. The ideal of kindness is something you can do without any issues it just takes time for you to realize you can do a little thing to make someone's life a little better.
